I read the script and liked it so I took the part.<p> </p> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" width="205" align="left"> <tr> <td width="100%"><img border="0" src="../stills/newyorkstory-poster.jpg" width="200" height="295"></td> </tr> </table> <p><b>What can you tell us about your collaboration with Andrew Barclay<i> [<a href="andrewbarclay(7-14).shtml">Andrew Barclay interview - click here</a>]</i> and the rest of the <i>Eromeda Entertainment</i> crew so far?</b><p> <p>I’ve not really collaborated with them but we’ve worked on the character and I've enjoyed having input into it all.<p> <p><b>How much of yourself do you see in Terry, the teenage gangleader, and what will you draw upon to bring your character to life?</b><p> <p>I grew up and live in Manchester so those type of people I've seen all my life - so it wasn’t too hard to put that into a character like ‘Terry’.<p> <p><b>Any future projects beyond <i>A New York Story</i> you'd like to share?</b><p> <p>I’ve had a couple of film offers and other stuff happening but can’t really say much more at this point.<p> </p> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" width="185" align="right"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <p align="right"><img border="0" src="../stills/robbieconway-1.jpg" width="180" height="281"></td> </tr> </table> <p><b>What got you into acting to begin with, and did you receive any formal training on the subject?</b><p> <p>I didn’t go to acting school and never took acting lessons before I was cast in <i><b>Shameless</b></i> - they visited my school and I went for it. I didn’t think I'd get it so I wasn’t really nervous. After that I did do drama at <i>Laine Acting Agency</i> and the classes were toward a showcase I took part in.<p> <p><b>You of course have to talk about your involvement in <i>Shameless</i> for a bit, and how did you get involved in that series in the first place?</b><p> <p>As I mentioned they came to audition at my school and that’s how I got to be in <b><i>Shameless</i></b>.<p> <p><b>Any other film and TV (and stage?) work of yours you'd like to talk about?</b><p> <p>Aside from <b> A New York Story</b> and <b><i> Shameless</i></b> I can’t really go into what’s coming up but im looking forward to it all.<p> </p> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" width="225" align="left"> <tr> <td width="100%"><img border="0" src="../stills/robbieconway-3.jpg" width="220" height="230"></td> </tr> </table> <p><b>How would you describe yourself as an actor, and some of your techniques to bring your characters to life?</b><p> <p>I'm still learning and still growing as an actor and I'd like to try all kinds of different roles. I don’t think I have a ‘technique’ yet.<p> <p><b>Actors (and indeed actresses) who inspire you?</b><p> <p>I really like Tom Hardy and Jason Statham.<p> <p><b>Your favourite movies?</b><p>  <p>I like <b> Scarface</b> with Al Pacino and I also love the <b><i> Rush Hour</i></b> films. I really also like <b>Rise Of The Foot Soldier</b> too.<p>   <p><b>... and of course, films you really deplore?</b><p>  <p>I don’t really hate any films to be honest.<p> <p><b>Your website, Facebook, whatever else?</b><p> <p>I will have an actor's Facebook page and website soon. I do have a Facebook but it’s my personal one for friends and family.<p> <p><b>Anything else you are dying to mention and I have merely forgotten to ask?</b><p> <p>Erm... YES! I met Big Joe Egan not long ago.
