With the help of his neighbour Wallace, Frank plans to plant a 4000 year old vine to see if it still grows - but little does he know that Wallace is only helping him because he has the hots for Frank's wife Terry. Terry isn't in the least interested in Wallace, but when she tries to fight him off with a kitchen knife, she accidently kills her own husband. While she immediately wants to call the police, Wallace persuades her to instead bury the corpse in the greenhouse and report Frank missing ...

The next day, a vine has grown from the 4000 year old seeds, exactly where Frank is buried, and Terry finds out that the vine actually needs the warmth of a human body to grow, a body the plant tries to twine around in a strangling fashion. And really, when days later, Wallace, in an alcoholic state, tries to rape Terry, he accidently falls into the plant ... and is strangled to death.

When the police the next day wants to remove the killer plant, Terry loses her cool ... especially when the cops dig up her husband's corpse.

Ok horror tale that is only let down by its ending tht fails to pack the punch the preceding story would have deserved.
