A young guy accidently runs into a blind man, and when the blind man
complains, it leads to a deluge of reproach from bystanders, upon which
out her asks for a moment to take "a breath of mindfulness". Unfortunately
he does that in the middle of the street and causes a multi-car pile-up in
the process. But instead of this ending in a big brawl among all directly
or indirectly involved, it leads to an epidemic of breaths of mindfulness
- which eventually leads to quite surreal consequences ... Now of
course, the core message of this film to from time to time just stand back
and take a few breaths to not let the world run you over is as simple as
it isinspirational - but it's really what writer/director Milly Cohen
makes out of this concept, letting it drift off into the absurd, the
surreal, but without ever tainting the message - or forgetting to utterly
entertain the audience. So in all, a pretty unique experience - and a
pretty enjoyable one, too.
