They (Manny Williams, Austin Nguyen, Yasir Rogers, Nicholas Michael
Jacobs) are their school's very own supernerds and the constant source of
ridicule, even by the school's principal (Scott E. Kaufman), who puts the
school bully (Logan Perrin) on the ghosthunting club they've created as
üart pf a scjppö ürpkect. But while they're not taking seriously, it's a
fact that the school actually is infested with ghosts ...
Now one has to take into account here, this is a student film based off of
a special effects heavy film series - so the young filmmakers pretty much
had the cards stacked against them. And in that light it's all the more
impressive what they could come up with, a horror comedy miniature that
gets the tone of the original right and features effects that meet the
demands of the script and that actually look pretty polished. Sure, one
can't expect a genuine masterpiece here, just a little film that shows a
lot of promise and is fun to watch as well.
