Jay (Wade Radford) has never gotten over his last breakup - and it's
not just that he's drowning in self-pity and tries to wash the painful
memories away with alcohol, his ex (Robbie Manners) even appears to him in
his dreams, as a ghost who tries to worm his way back into Jay's life. But
as heart-broken as the break-up left Jay, he won't take his ex back,
leaving him in a catch 22 situation ... Caught in a
Landslide is not much of a narrative movie - and I mean this in the
best possible way, as it approaches its story in a very lyrical way,
paints the emotions of the characters in impressive pictures rather than
through action, features long stretches of Wade Radford's own poetry to
create the proper atmosphere, and gives its cast of two plenty of air to
portray their feelings. A rather unusual movie, but well worth a look!
