Basically, this is the story of two police detectives who struggle to find the bad guys in a web of corruption while also being personally affected by their obs, Det. Perez (Jose Luis Torres II), who has lost his wife to a bullet meant for him and who now struggles alcoholism while trying to do good by his daughter (Amanda Duarte), and Det. Tara (Tara London) has to come to terms with her mother's addiction to prescription drugs she gets through shady sources. But the two detectives areacting n perfect synchronicity when it comes to take down a serial rapest. Too bad then that that person is only a piece in a largre puzzle who might be let off the hook for info on a local drug kingpin ...

Now narratively, City of Honor 2: Choices might come across as less of a trhiller and more like a cop-themed soap opera, what with the many plot threads that are often only feebly to not at all connected and the feel we're thrown into a story that hasn't got its beginning nor end here, olus the many character arcs that develop simultatneously but at very different speeds. That said, stylistically this doesn't feel like a soap opera at all but more has gritty, urban vibe to it, a vibe that leaves one uncomfortable all through, and intentionally so. So in all, a film that needs some getting into due to its fragmented script and unresolved plotpoints at the end, but also a film that sure packs a punch.
