The girls (Jennifer Sky, Gina Torres, Victoria Pratt) are on a
rescue-mission again, this time to save one Jake Lawson (Bruce Hopkins),
who many moons ago spared Sarge's (Victoria Pratt) life & she has
since chosen him as her idol. But when they find him, guarding a huge
amount of barrels of plutonium, Sarge finds he has grown disillusioned
& cynical. It seems though, due to her dedication & admiration,
he finds his good heart again, & he agrees to sacrifice his life in
order for the others to get away - which they do, only to then find out
he had a secret escape plan anyways & intends to sell the plutonium
to the highest bidder thereafter. Sarge goes back, has a fight with him,
& in the end shoots him - but not in the back, for this would be
against her principles.
One of the better episodes of the series, this one actually has a
plot-twist in it, & Bruce Hopkins' tough-guy-portrayal, if somewhat
clichéd, is at least a pretty meaty performance.
