Dawna (Zoe Matthews) and her best friend Anne (Aiden Starr) pay a visit to a certain graveyard that just happens to be the sixth gate to hell, Dawna because she wants to masturbate on her dead boyfriend's grave, Anna because she wants to organize one of these graveyard parties. To get into the right mood, the girls play around with a ouija board a little and accidently evoke the devil. And when Dawna later masturbates and her pussy juices touch hallowed ground, that raises the dead, who soon rape everything in their way, then smash their head in and/or eat their intestines - pretty much what you'd expect from the living dead. And there are enough people who come visit the graveyard, after all, Anne has invited quite a bunch ...

Dawna the Dead is a promising piece of zombie porn, basically because one quickly gets the feeling that director Laume Conroy really understands the zombie genre as there are quotes to genre movies (mostly Italian zombie flicks from the 1980's) aplenty, especially when it comes to the musical score, to the grotesque gore effects and the like. On the other hand though, the movie - which clocks in at a mere 70 minutes - loses its plot much too quickly. Sure there's a set-up to all the zombie attacks/rapes, but once that part of the movie starts, it's just one sex scene after the next, no bridging sequence, narrative link, whatever. Well, you might of course saym, hey, it's a porno, who needs a story - and you're right apart from the fact, why throw zombies into a fuck-flick and then not do anything good (narratively) with them?
