Pretty much stranded in the rain, six tourists (Jacques Monseau, Ivana
Novak, Lorenzo Terzon, Shirley Corrigan, Colette Emmanuelle, Lucien
Raimbourg) and their guide (Christian Maillet) take abode in baron von
Rhoneberg's (Jean Servais) castle, a quite spooky place made even spookier
by the baron's stories about a succubus (~ seductive female demon) roaming
the place, which is supposed to be some kind of family curse that even
forced the baron to kill his baby daughter. Enter Lisa (Erika Blanc), a
quite attractive young woman who is looking for shelter from the storm as
well, and who charms everyone in one way or another, be it by her
reveaqling outfits or by her willingness to be accomplice to every little sin
whoever it is wants to commit (which somehow resemble the 7 deadly sins).
Thing is, one after the other she lures the tourists and their guide into
traps, actually being the succubus daughter of the baron's late brother.
Ultimately, of all the tourists, only a priest (Jacques Monseau) survives,
and he proves to be a bite too big to take for our succubus, so the devil
(Daniel Emilfork) shows up to broker a deal, a deal which the priest
thinks will at least save his fellow tourists - but of courwse it's the
devil who in the end has the last laugh, condemning the priest to a life
in sin with the succubus and seeing to it that his travelling companions
are killed in a bus accidents ... Routine piece of European
erotic horror that takes a bit too much time to set up its actual story
and in the process almost loses itself in a net of soap opera-style
subplots. It's only when the succubus actually starts to go into the
offensive (about two thirds into the film) that the whole thing picks up
speed, but even then her actions are a tad predictable and even become
repetitive before too long. That all said, the film is still an ok piece
of genbre entertainment, but nothing to write home about.
