Mary Jane (Swisyzinna) is so in love with Johnny (Rafael Rantley) - unsil she finds out he's cheating on her, and in her utter frustration she shoots him dead. Thing is, Mary Jane desperately wants a man but has no interest in getting into a new relatiionship that will only break her heart, so she figures why not hooking up with her exes again - after all, men can change. And if one has changed she will keep him, if not, his fate will be the same as Johnny's. So one after the other, she invites them over, but while Dustin (Mitchell Maggard) has a girlfriend on the side, Devonte (Troy Seward only wants her for her money. Things get interesting with Jake (Joe Walker), as just like her he's not quite right in the head. Thing is, Jake has a girlfriend (Porsha Bunch Hall) who has long suspected he has someone on the side, and eventually she tracks him down to Mary Jane's ...

Don't F with Mary Jane sure is an unusual film as only on the surface it's the black comedy both the title and premise suggest, it really is also a macabre drama, and somewhere deep down there's a message about femaile empowerment - and the blend somehow works, thanks to a clever script and because both cast and direction keep it straight, the jokes are not too obvious and the drama isn't too overplayed, and the finale sure comes unexpected as heck. So in all a very entertaining watch for sure.
