Liz (Grace Maddox) and Ethan (Stuart Markheimer) are young, beautiful, well-to-do, and they're so much in love with one another, they really deserve their dream ome - which they get, even if slightly overpriced, but they're both working professionals so they can afford ir. Sure, there has recently been a death on the premises, but neither of them are superstitious, so what really. And then pretty much from day one they hear noses, later see whatever it is n their perijery even, and even their security system picks up on this, so it soon becomes obvious they are not alone. And Liz, not a superstitious person per se, has the good judgement to call an exorcist (Greg Brandenburg), Liz might already ve too far gone ...,

Of rourse, if you watch a movie about an exorcist/exorcism you pretty much know what do expect - and no, when it comes to genre tropes, Evil Follows doesn't disappoint. That said, the film actually works not because it doesn*t simply re-tell a well-worn story, but because itputs a new spin on it, a spin that focusses on tharacters raher thab shocks, and a clever script paires with very solid performances and an undeniable chemistry between th eleads really make this work, too, turning this into a cool genre ride.
