Since Halloween's round the corner, the Crimson Creeper (John Von
Shelton) has a few stories that need to be told:
- Rooms: The best equipment in the world can't keep a slightly
clumsy ghosthunter (Clive McKenzie) from opening the gateway to
another dimension.
- Dead Girl Walking: Just because he (Jason M.J Brown) kills
girls as a pastime doesn't mean they can't come back to haunt him.
- The Shadow: A girl (Kirtsy) is running away from a masked
being stalking her - but can't even start guessing who it is who's
really behind her.
- The Fur Fangs: A guy finds some furry little balls from outer
space on his porch - awww, how cute ... at least until they show their
fangs ...
- Dinner Time!: A romantic dinner for two - with some really
unusual food!
- The Thin Man: A vlogger (Dylan Redshaw) wants to test an
urban legend live on video and summon "The Thin Man" (Bayden
Ray Redshaw), an evil warlock from the 1800s who's been starved to
death - thing is, some urban legends are more than just legends ...
A worthy addition to any Halloween collection, this anthology collects
indie horror gems from all corners of the genre, from the downright scary
to the utterly ironic, from the all-out mean to the laugh-out-loud funny,
and everything in between. And while not all these segments look 100%
refined (though some surprisingly so), one can feel the love for the genre
in all of them, and the great variety in approach to horror really works
for the anthology, keeping it lively and quirky throughout.
Great genre fun, really!
