A woman (María Forqué) finds herself naked in the woods, spread out
on some canvas as if ready to be packed ... and after some initial
confusion, she finds her captor (Ramón G. del Pomar), his back turned to
her, on the phone, trying to sell her. It's only natural that she tries to
make an escape, and initially she doesn't do too bad - but then again,
she's a naked woman, and her would-be captor carries a gun, so it's only a
matter of time until the tides are turned. But then the woman reaches
water ... Into the Mud might not have much in story let
alone character development - but it's one tight movie nevertheless as it
gets the most suspense and tension out of its mere 10 minutes of running
time imaginable, thanks to a very compact directorial effort accompanied
by very fluid editing and camerawork, and also to-the-point performances
by the two actors. Plus, the surprise ending alone would be worth your
time already
