Only minutes before going to a wedding reception of a friend of hers, Doug (Kevin James) learns that his wife Carrie
(Leah Remini) has had sex with the groom Todd (James Castle Stevens) many years ago - and immediately, an irrational
form of jealousy sets in, which prevents him from having any fun at the reception - until Carrie confesses her love to Doug
in an official toast and then makes fun of Todd’s inadequacy in the bedroom,
not knowing that she’s still talking into the mike she used when toasting ...
As often with this series, the premise of the story is not too well-conceived, but that’s made up by a series of very
funny gags and dialogues.
