On summer vacation, Pauli (Ekkehardt Belle) goes to Switzerland by train to spend some time with his dad (Jean-Pierre Bouillon) ... & even on the train, he is almost seduced by a woman, who then takes/is taken by another man instead of him. Arriving at his dad's, he has to find out that this woman is Yvonne (Teri Tordai), dad's new girlfriend.

At his father's house, he meets a menagerie of weird relatives, including his uncle Alex (Peter Berling), a mad composer, & his wife Myriam (Gisela Hahn), who is a lesbian & has sex with the servant girl Silvana (Dominique Delpierre) before both Pauli's & Alex' very eyes.

So the neighbour's girl Andrea (Sylvia Kristel) - Julia in the English version, hence the English title - seems a haven of sanity ... but before long she confesses she is still a virgin but wants to be deflowered by him, best right away ... Pauli, himself a virgin, just can't come to terms with taking her virginity, so he declines ... & pretty much misses his window.

Soon, Paul's best friend Gerald tries to take his chances with Andrea - & before Pauli's very eyes, too ... but instead he drowns in the local lake due to a combination of bad boatsmanship & too much hashish - also before Pauli's very eyes.

Pauli falls into a state of depression, & is soon so brought up that he tries to rape servant girl Silvana ... which gives his father the idea to take both Pauli & Andrea on a trip to Verona, to, you know, get them together, but then he learns that Pauli is nervous because Andrea still is a virgin, so he fucks her out of fatherly love ... also pretty much before Pauli's very eyes.

Understandably, Pauli is pretty pissed at his old man, but as a compensation, daddy's girlfriend Yvonne seduces him (pretty much to show him the ropes) ...

When they all return to daddy's home in Switzerland, Pauli's a changed man ... but Andrea is devastated - & this is not at all helped by the fact that Pauli from now on looks down on her ... until the last day of the vacation that is, when they finally fuck, in the rain, on the (sand)tennis court ... after this they are so chargecd up that they immediately want to marry - but somehow they soon cool off, & eventually Pauli takes the train back home ... & wouldn't you know it, Yvonne is on the same train, & she seduces him on the train's toilet.

You might have noticed, the story of this film - a coming-of-age-love-story with some sex thrown in for good measure - is completely silly, & it's not made one bit better by the fact that it takes itself way too seriously, & the direction can be called unimaginative at best, with no eyes for the erotic past the point of naked bodies. But what's even worse, the film is completely boring ...
