Movie director Hunter (Hunter Johnson) thinks he's got it figured: Sign
the "Queen of Screams" Malvolia (Jennifer Nangle) for a
multi-picture deal, and then his career will pretty much fall in place
automatically. To honour the occasion, Hunter has invited a host of actors
to co-star with Malvolia in his next movie, and given her the opportunity
to choose one as her "victim". There are a few problems though,
as none of Hunter's guests are as excited about Malvolia as he is (or even
know her), and once Malvolia and her sister (Sheri Davis) arrive, they
can't help but notice the party's pretty lame. The main problem though,
when Hunter promised Malvolia to choose her victim, he had no idea what
that might entail ... First and foremost, Malvolia's
Halloween Party is lots of fun, not only but especially to those
involved in the indie horror scene: The humour of this one is pretty
self-deprecating, but rings true all the same, and the reality TV approach
really helps here, especially since most of the actors play pretty much
bad versions of themselves. And of course, the very macabre ending of this
one will keep horror fans happy!
