It's Vince's (Craig Kelly) 30th birthday, & self-obsessed Stuart (Aidan
Gillen) is jumping to every opportunity to outdo Vince's current boyfriend
Cameron (Peter O'Brien), not only throwing a big party for him but also giving
him a full-scale K9-model
(which is of course the robot dog of popular sci-fi-tv character Doctor
Who), & which easily outshines the car Cameron gives him (ok
not really, but Doctor
Who-fans might understand). But then things do turn nasty when
Stuart has also invited Rosalie (Caroline Pegg), a girl from Vince's work who
has a sort of fling for him & who doesn't know he is gay ... & when
finding out, she is devastated, making Vince angry enough to break off
friendship with Stuart, for good (but then, maybe not). In the meantime,
Romey (Esther Hall), the mother of Stuart's child, plans a fake marriage to
Lance (John Brobbey), to save him from being deported to Nigeria - much to the
dismay of Romey's lesbian girlfriend Lisa (Saira Todd), who all of a sudden
thinks about a good use for the ever scheming Stuart: She hands him some
loveletters Romey has written to her as evidence that she is not in love with
Lance, which, handed over to the proper authorities, would reveal the marriage
as a scam & Lance would be deported. Generally, Stuart agrees to her
plan, but he has no interest in taking the plan ... so he persuades Nathan
(Charlie Hunnam), his 15-year-old one-night-stand that wouldn't go away to
help out ... A somehow dark & bitter episode ... that's quite
entertaining though.
