Mostly to pass time until the pizza's here, 3 girls (Amberly Pecsek,
Brittany Scarf, Jessica Dole) tell each other scary stories - after all,
this is a slumber party, so what better to do?
- Bashed: A girl (DaNae West) confesses to her co-worker (Russ
A. Bryan) she's in love with him. When he comes out as gay though, it
doesn't sit well with her ... ouch!
- Backstabber: Amy (Diane Sokolowich) doesn't take lightly to
her best friend (Jessica Hutson) texting to and fro with her own
boyfriend, and ... ouch! But things aren't always the way they seem
...
- The Pledge: To become part of a sorority, all a girl has to
do is to spend some time in a room a girl has hanged herself in
recently - your typical sorority prank included. But of course, the
prank goes completely off-course ...
- Imaginary Fiend: After years of having forgotten about her,
Kristen (Brittney Scalf) finds herself confronted with ehr imaginary
friend - who has handcuffed her to a chair ... and it gets worse from
there ...
- Event Invitation: Becca (Heather Dorff) let's her best friend
(Deann Baker) persuade her to go to a party of "this weird kid in
high school", who's apparently gotten amazingly rich since - but
an old grudge against those who've been mean to you doesn't just go
away with money ...
- The Dare: A bunch of girls play "truth or dare" at
a slumber party, with Holly (Jackey Hall) being the annoyingly bossy
bitch - who eventually gets her come-uppance ...
- Unlucky Night: Brad (Jay Gates) gets pretty drunk at a bar -
and still manages to pick up a pretty great girl, Rachel (Sierra
Holmes) - and the next morning, he finds himself tied to a chair, and
apparently Rachel has a grudge ...
- Valentine's Prey: The week leading up to Valentine's Day,
Rose (Devanny Pinn) is getting a daily delivery of flowers from a
secret admirer - the psycho delivery guy ...
- Capture and Kill: A bunch of city folks drive through
backwoods, USA, when they are attacked by a group of hillbillies - who
want to make them the main attraction of their party ... or was that
the main dish?
- Noise Complaint: Emma (Diane Sokolovich) is throwing a party
for her friends in her parents' house - when a cop (Ricky D'Alonzo)
stops by because of a noise complaint ... a minor misdemeanour
actually, but this cop's a psycho ...
Knock knock, and the pizza's here - but unfortunately, the pizza guy
(Ricky D'Alonzo) ...
Scary Story Slumber Party is a movie that delivers exactly what
the title promises to - scary stories for slumber parties ... and very
successfully so, as the film is a collection of expertly made skeletal
suspense pieces based on just the right mix of urban legends, genre
mainstays, camp elements and fun plottwists to keep the audience
interested throughout. And the result is basically - loads and loads of
genre fun!!!
