Five scream queens (Brinke Stevens, Monique Gabrielle, Kelli Maroney, Michelle Bauer, Roxanne Kernohan) are invited to what might be a haunted house for a horror seminar. For some reason, there is absolutely nobody at the house, so our scream queens do what scream queens of the era did best: They jump into their bikinis (which includes baring their breasts of course), then jump into the hot tub. And since they were invited to talk about horror, they do just that: Brinke Stevens instructs how to take a shower the scream queen way, Monique Gabrielle recouonts how much she likes to be a vampire, Kelli Maroney demonstrates how to use guns in horror, Michelle Bauer shares her love for chainsaws with us ... and finally, Roxanne Kernohan, a relative newcomer to the scream queen scene, shows a clip out of one of her scenes.

Scream Queen Hot Tub Party is basically little more than an attempt to cash in on the scream queen craze of its time (which directors Fred Olen Ray and Jim Wynorski admittedly helped to launch in the first place), so basically we are not presented with an actual story but the scream queens at hand getting through a few scream queenish situations to take us from one film clip from another movie to the next, and films featured in this one are The Slumber Party Massacre, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Nightmare Sisters, Critters 2 and Transylvania Twist. Now as a film as such one might argue Scream Queen Hot Tub Party has precious little to offer - but the scream queen fan will probably still find enough to get excited about (after all, both the clips and the wraparound sequence are rather on the ironic side), and hey, the girls are all really cute, and all get topless one time or another - better than nothing, isn't it?
