Of late, Sherlock Holmes (Ronald Howard) has started to act
increasingly strange, has started to have secretseven from his best friend
and assistant Doctor Watson (Howard Marion Crawford), and he even starts
doing things on his own - which causes Watson to try and follow him on
many occasions, but Holmes manages to look through pretty much all of his
attempts ... until one day, rather by chance, Watson succeeds. And he
finds Holmes discussing a heist with what appear to be his accomplices.
Now Watson is certain that Holmes is indeed the master thief who has
been roaming London the last few weeks, and he informs police inspector
Lestrade (Archie Duncan) about this ... and eventually, Watson and
Lestrade catch Holmes red-handed with some secret documents after some
official function - at which point Homes reveals he has been working with
Scotland Yard all along to try and test national security ...
A very silly episode that is amde all the sillier by its solution that
after the rather clumsy buildup still comes across as a letdown.
