There's a kid (Leo Harris) in school who never smiles - and sure, he's bullied, but is this a cause or just a symptom?

There's a middle-aged man (Owen Teale) who has just found out he's terminally ill. and who has committed on doing at least one pointless thing each day to make the rest of his life more meaningful.

These two people have nothing in common, and their paths only cross because the latter has started secretlly (and in a way pointlessly) decorating a wall on the way home from school of the former - and still that chance meeting moves them both ...

Now don't expect anything big from this movie, there's no setpieces, no big melodrama, no tearcjerking moments or really anything like that, no hyperbole, no nothing -- and that's exactky what makes this short work quite as well. it isn't about big moments but about life itself and feels thus incredibly honest in its depiction of on the surface pointless things. And of course, a strong ensemble cast only helps bringing this t life rather beautifully, making this a very worthwhile watch.
