Spider-Man (Shinji Todoo) saves a boy, Isamu, from a landslide after
being dragged into action by the kid's dog Ricky. Spidey soon finds out
the landslide was caused by the Iron Cross Army, and wonders why the Army
is attacking little boys now - but Isamu won't talk ... thus Spidey
investigates on hiw own and finds out Isamu's dad, who has constructed a
big dam, has gone missing three days ago, and he figures this must have
been the work of the Iron Cross Army. Of course Spidey is right, the
Army needs Isamu's dad to tell them how to effectively blow up
above-mentioned dam so it will flood a nearby nuclear reactor and take
nuclear waste all the way to the Tokyo sewers. Isamu's dad is willing to
give up that information only after the Iron Cross Army threatens his son.
Spidey interferes but is captured by the army, and he and Isamu's dad are
both tied up to be blown up with the dam ... but Ricky the dog interferes,
frees them, and now Spidey takes care of the Iron Cross Army and their
giant monster, using his giant robot Marveller/Leopardon. One question
though: Why did the Iron Cross Army not just use this episode's giant
monster (they have a different one every episode) to destroy the dam? Childish
fun. Maybe a little too strong on animal action, but still entertaining in
a rather brainless way.
