They (Steve
Brewster, Andrea
Fletcher, Keira
McCarthy, Marco
Reilly) seem to be the perfectly normal, harmless family - a little bit
too cheery for some of us perhaps, but good-natured all the same ... so
why do they keep a man (Leonard Waldner) chained up in the basement? A man
they later kill, behead, splice open his head and take out the entrails? A
Tricky Treat is a very sweet little comedy - that's also incredibly
gruesome as it shows a human head being literally gutted (and the gore
effects leave little to the imagination), all to the cheeriest
conversation. And the resolution of the thing is a real hoot, whether you
see it coming or not. Excellent Halloween entertainment to say the
least!
