Since the death of his wife, he (Don Tempesta) has lost all will to
live - so he decides to end it all, puts his thoughts onto paper in a
suicide note, puts a gun to his head and ... then he gets a phonecall that
he accepts - and that might change everything. Always a
Reason is a touching little film that gets its message (how the most
trivial thing can change a life) across beautifully in less than 3 minutes
time, thanks to atmospheric filmmaking, an almost lyrical pace and a
quiet, melancholic performance by Don Tempesta, greatly counterpointed by
Christian Goodwin's youthful energy. Really worth a watch!
