It's Halloween, and a little, unaccompanied kid (Calisto Thompson)
dressed up as a ghost knocks on Tiffany's (Nenna Nolen) door, and she's
happy to give her visitor some candy, as one would, when her boyfriend
Ryan (Frank Bernard Smith jr III) scares the little trick-or-treater away,
as a joke. Not much later, there's another knock on the door, just there's
nobody outside, just the bag the kid must have lost when he dashed off.
Tiffany takes in the bag, not realizing it's more than just the bag she
has just brought inside her apartment until it's much too late ... A
really nice horror miniature of the urban legends variety that doesn't
spend much time on set-up and the like but puts its trust in its story's
inherent creepiness, coupled with a tight directorial effort and solid
performances. Pretty much the perfect film to watch for trick-or-treat
season - to get creeped out for real!
