It's without a doubt that the Corona virus, and possibly even more so
the self isolation that has come with it has had a big impact on all of us
- but that doesn't mean one can't still be creative, and Lawss-An-Je-Les
is just ample proof of that, a very experimental and somehow even abstract
walk/drive through the almost empty (!) streets of Los Angeles at night,
overlayed with a face that's really up to anyone's interpretation - is it
the virus, is it fear, is it Mother Nature taking back what's hers?
However the interpretation, the outcome is a haunting meditation of what's
going on at the moment, and at the same time a mood piece that probably
will speak to generatiions to come - and a totally worthwhile movie.
