A masked and armed robber (Tony Porteous) relieves a woman (Teegan
Weiske) of her handbag ... but then runs into a zombie (Paolo Bryant), who
not only brutally murders him and eats his brain, he also makes it his
point to personally return the handbag to the woman. Zombie
Vigilante is above all else good fun. Both narratively and stylistically,
it's a mix of zombie genre mainstays, the often hair-raising concept of
superhero comics, and of course the ironically blunt approach of the Batman
TV-series starring Adam West, while at times it intentionally gives its
viewer to be a trailer to a feature film - that was never made though, and
probably fortunately so, as it's doubtful if the joke of a righteous
zombie could have filled the sreentime of a feature without becoming drawn
out and maybe even boring - but at a mere 4 minutes, it's pretty much
perfect and perfectly laugh-inducing.
