Your new movie Grace of God - in a few words, what's it
about, and what can you tell us about your character in it?
It is about this cult in the South during the 70s, a doomsday cult so
to speak. My character is very unique, to be exact, hahahaha. He is
very silent, but my facial expressions say more than a thousand words,
which gives an edge to it all!
What did you draw upon to bring your character to life, and how
much Juanito Blazquez can we find Isaiah?
Very good question. This is my first horror movie, believe it or not,
but it is true, and I got to play the role very well indeed, as I am
usually more of a comedy character guy! So, to continue with the
question, Isaiah is very far away from who I am! Haha.
How did you get involved with the project in the first place, what
drew you to it?
Director Jt Kris introduced me to this project and explained the script to
me, and he was 100% sure he had found the perfect guy for this role. And
by all the hype this movie has received, I think he was right! Don’t you think?!
Too what extent could you identify with Grace of God's
approach to horror?
To be honest, not much, but this has actually opened a new door for my
career, which makes me feel very motivated and excited for the future.
I hope other filmmakers around the world will see what a talent I am!
What can you tell us about Grace of God's director Jt
Kris, and what was your collaboration like?
Omg, where can I begin? This amazing man not having directed bigger
projects yet is a shock to me, with all the talent he has! I really
can see him taking over the world of horror in the future!
Do talk about the shoot as such, and the on-set atmosphere!
Amazing! We were in the woods and found a really good spot to make things
look amazing for the movie!
Any future projects you'd like to share?
Oh, you want gossip I think, hahahaha. I am involved in a few projects
that will be coming soon, so please keep an eye on me because Hollywood is
getting closer… J
What got you into acting in the first place, and did you receive
any formal training on the subject?
Everything started when I was younger and people told me I should be an
actor. I studied theatre for 3 years and got a really good background from
that, and it helped make me who I am today!
What can you tell us about your filmwork prior to Grace of God?
I have mostly done theatre and musicals before and film didn't really
interest me until I got older.
How would you describe yourself as an actor, and some of your
techniques to bring your characters to life?
Where should I start? As I mentioned earlier, my main thing is comedy,
and doing this really shows what a great variety and endless
techniques I have. And as I mentioned before, my face says thousands
of words! Actors (and indeed actresses) who inspire you?
Oh, good question, but I must say myself!
Your favourite movies?
Pretty Woman!
... and of course, films you really deplore?
Titanic!

to ask? Nothing more than… when do you think I will come to Hollywood?
