Your new movie Nigel
- in a few words, what's it about?
It's a quirky short comedy about online dating. What did you draw
upon to bring your character to life, and how much Keith Nahon can we
find in Uncle Bob? Regards uncle Bob or any other character, I never draw from anywhere, I just
let it happen, I put the costume on and then become the character. How did you get involved with the
project in the first place, what drew you to it?
Co-star Sharon Spink [Sharon Spink

Sutton [Paul Sutton interview -

What can you tell us about
Nigel's director Paul
Sutton, and what was your collaboration like? Paul Sutton was clear in what he wanted as a director made it easy to be
part of the film. Do talk about the shoot as such, and the on-set atmosphere!
The Nigel shoot was full of laughs and could bhave een open to a lot of corpsing!
Any future projects you'd like to share? I'm
cast as a support lead in the action thriller Thicker Than Water,
due out next year. What got you into acting in the first place, and did you receive
any formal training on the subject?
I was retired and needed something to do and did some extra work as
it sounded like easy money to stand around. And then I wanted more and then did some
workshops and training as I struggle to learn lines and be disciplined. What can you
tell us about your filmwork prior to Nigel?
Prior to Nigel
I’ve done some strange odd roles, an adult baby for
Dominic Brunt’s Attack of the Adult Babies, also an MP being interviewed about his kinky obsessions, as well as lucky
to be cast only briefly as Lisa Dingle's date in Emmerdale.
How would you describe yourself as an actor, and some of your
techniques to bring your characters to life?
Regards techniques as an actor I don’t have any. I find it’s not real if
it becomes over complicated and contrived. To me acting needs to be
natural. Actors (and indeed actresses) who inspire you? Nicolas Cage
and Morgan Freeman. Your favourite movies? ET,
Jaws, Shawshank Redemption,
Seven. ... and of course, films you
really deplore? I don’t deplore any films as it’s all about personal taste.
