By mere accident, two of Robin Hood's (Richard Greene) men kidnap to
kids (Pamela Ann Davy, Andrew de la Motte) of Norman aristocracy. As Robin
has no desire to be considered a kidnapper, he wants to return them
immediately, but the kids just refuse to tell him where they live, so
Robin and his men have to become nursemaids for them - and before long,
the kids even enjoy life with Robin and his men. Only eventually do they
tell Robin who their parents are, and to their greatest dismay, Robin then
plans to return them home - so much so that they lure him into a trap, to
have him arrested by their father's (John Longden) men. But when they
later learn that Robin is about to be hanged, the kids free him again
before his merry men can even jump into action. Adventure
stories involving kids are usually a bit of a disappointment, and this one
is no exception. Sure, there are a few amusing scenes in here, but not
enough to render the whole thing interesting.
