Ever since his son, a cop like him, was killed in the line of duty,
Michael's (Timothy J. Cox) heart-broken - so much so in fact that he's
musing about avenging him by killing his killer. After all, he knows
beyond doubt who did it, and he's friends with the cops working the case,
so there's a fair chance he'd get away with the murder scot-free. Only,
this shocks his daughter (Beth Metcalf), and she's determined to go the
extra mile to prevent her father from becoming a murderer ... At
its heart, this is of course an actors' movie, a statement only confirmed
by the fact that it was written by its lead Timothy J. Cox, as it's really
just two people in a room talking. But that said, the film also tells a
really compelling story revolving around a moral dilemma, and a strong
cast with a suitably subtle direction that gives them the space to breathe
make this into a rather powerful film for sure.
