4re4_51 (Péter Inoka) and Pow3rpuff (Fruzsina Nagy) have been getting
to know one another for quite some time now on the internet, and decide to
finally set up a time and place to meet up for real - but then, at the
morning of their date, 4re4_51 wakes up in the open in a post-apocalyptic
world, without knowing how he got there, he goes searching for answers,
but the first person he meets disappears into thin air before his very
eyes. Eventually, he runs into a group of gun-carrying, gas mask wearing
men who want to shut him on the spot - until one of them shoots all the
others instead and reveals herself to be Pow3rpuff, who tells him she
herself has been sucked into this world a week ago already (as time moves
different here), and that there are others like them. She promises to
bring him to safety - but the way there is riddled with deadly threats ... A
very cool short that pretty much takes the premise of every other post
apocalyptic movie (the heroes running from men in gas masks) and puts a Twilight
Zone-like touch to it, with a surprise ending that has almost
tearjerker qualities. But the film's at the same time carried with enough
suspense and atmosphere to keep the audience at the edge of their seats
throughout, and its decaying locations are used to full effect, to make up
for a pretty awesome ride.
