After Midnight

Sure, if one's pedantic one might argue that the segments of After
Midnight do lack a common theme, both stylistically and narratively,
and are just genre stories thrown together heading off in all kinds of
different directions, including slasher, post doomsday, fantasy horror,
zombie, found footage and whatnot - and of course, this argument has some
value to it, but it fails to acknowledge that pretty much all of the
segments are of a rather high quality and freak you out in one way or
another, and if one of the shorts might not really be your thing for
whatever reason, it's more than likely that the next one will more than
make up for it. So basically a great collection for a good night of genre
entertainment!
