Well aware of the notoriety of the Amityville horror house, Dr. Marsh
(Tiffany Sinclair) takes us through four stories designed to make the real
horror palpable
- The Shed: Three small fry crooks (Kris Fleetwood, Travis
Youmans, Dilynn Fawn Harvey) break into the shed next to the (by now
boarded up) Amityville horror house to find some treasure - but of
course, they don't find gold, just demons ...
- The Possessed Relic: A guy finds a rocking chair in
fairly good condition in the streets and decides to bring it home to
his wife. Little do either know the chair came from the Amitiville
household, and taking it in has invited evil insided their four walls
...
- Blood Moon Over Amityville: Retired cop Frank (Joe Jauch)
can't come over the last job he has ever worked on - finding young
Elisabeth (Delilah Hefner who has vanished under mysterious
circumstances - and failed miserably. He has never given up hope on
finding the girl one day, but the deeper he gets into the case on his
own, the more he has to realize he's working against malevolent forces
...
- Echoes of the Damned: Jack (Phil Herman) and Megan
(Debbie D) have just moved into their new home, a dream home that they
don't even let their creepy neighbours (Ralph Rey, Deanna Marie] spoil
for them Of course, the house is built on the ruins of the original
Amitiville horror house, and soon enough demonic forces threaten to
take over their lives ...
Genre veteran Venon Welles can be ween as
Megan's father, Sandy Johnson as a concerned neighbour.
Another fun anthology gathered by Phil Herman, this one features four
very different takes on a common theme, and of course the four segments
differ wildly in approach and tone, but each taken by inself is a fine
piece of incie horror, each is well put together and well played, turning
this into a fine omnibus of ghosts, demons and demonic possession that's
sure to strike a chord of two with every self-respecting horror
afficionado.
