A cellphone has been found belonging to a paranormal investigator
called Billy (Billy Stanley), which contains footage of him entering an
abandoned building, getting properly freaked out before catching a
performance of shock rockers Firesphere right then and there -
after which footage suggests he has met a violent end. Thing is, Billy has
never gone missing (at least to police reports), and more than that there
never was as paranormal investigator fitting Billy's description. But
what's most weird, the building Billy seemed to enter had been burned down
and later levelled decades ago ... Of course, whether or not
you like this short film/music video hybrid will strongly depend on
whether you like the music of the band Firesphere, a blend of
industrial rock, metal and techno ... but even if not, one might get a
kick out of the movie's approach to found footage filmmaking (including
its weird ending), its understanding of genre filmmaking, and of course
its light-footedness about everything.
