It's been 24 hours since the zombie outbreak, and unsurprisingly,
people start dying like flies - but three groups have managed to survive
so far, a picture book nuclear family, a bunch of goths and a group of
marauders ... and eventually, they all make it to the same place for
safety. Problem is, while the number one goal of each of these groups is
survival, and it would obviously make sense to band together to reach that
goal, their ideas of how to get there couldn't be more different - and
dangerously so ... Now there are no two ways about it, Biting
Off More Than You Can Chew is not the most polished of films, and
hardcore horror fans might also say it's not high on suspense (though
they'll almost certainly like the film's bloody bits) ... but at the same
time, this movie is just so much fun, and seems to have been even more fun
to make. Basically it's a highly clichéed zombie scenario played to the
hilt, with hilarious resolutions to genre mainstays, colourful characters
and a general darkly humourous tone that helps make this a ton of fun!
