When Jianjien (Lo Lieh) has to realize his rich mistress Luo-Yin (Tanny Tien Ni) dumps him in favour of the handsome engineer of her contruction site, Xu Nuo (Ti Lung) - who doesn't even want her being engaged to Quying (Lily Li) -, he pays a visit to Shan Jian-mi (Ku Feng), a practitioner of black magic, to gieve him a love potion.

The potion even works & soon Jianjien & Luo-Yin land in bed together - but only for one night, then Luo-Yin furiously throws him out, but later reconsiders & gets the Black magicians adress form Jianjien for a reasonable amount of money.

& while Luo-Yin gets a potion from Shan Jian-mi to make Xu Nuo her willing love slave, Jianjien has to find out neglecting to pay Shan Jian-mi costs his life ...

At his wedding to Quying, Luo-Yin is able to slip the potion to Xu Nuo, & lures him away from the celebration under the eyes of heartbroken Quying. But she's not one to give up on her man, either, & soon threatens Luo-Yin with legal consequences, forcing Luo-Yin to give Shan Jian-mi another assignment - to get rid of Quying. Soon too, Quying falls very ill, & an x-ray shows that weird worms are eating up her inner organs, rapidly approaching her heart, & there's nothing modern medicine can do. But her uncle Wang & her friend Wei find another way to cure her: by white magic, & so they huire Master Furong, a mortal enemy of Shan Jian-mi, tu undo his evil spells.

Shan Jian-mi meanwhile has fallen for Luo-Yin herself & put her under a love spell, so their guards are down when Quying, Master Furong, Wang & Wei break Xu Nuo free of her mansion & free him of Shan Jian-mi's spell. But do they, as Shan Jian-mi isn't one to be tricked easily, & he soon brings Xu Nuo back under his control & has him go berserk.

It all ends in a car chase & a magic duel at a construction site between good & evil,  & good finally wins, while evil crumbles to dust.

While the cast - consisting many of the finest Shaw Brothers' martial arts regulars - might suggest otherwise, this is an enjoyable piece of trash-horror, full of over-the-top ideas, weird gore effects & cheesy optical effects, with an extra helping of sleaze thrown in just for good measure. Mindless fun !
