Lorraine (Leslie McRae) makes regular visits to Mara (Lila Zaborin), a
witch who does all the usual stuff, cardreading, regressions, seances and
such. Her boyfriend Mark (Tom Pace) is more than a little suspicious about
the witch, but since he loves Lorraine, he tags along.
Of course, Mark's suspicions are far from unfounded, actually Mara is
also involved in an espionage affair in which she kills a diplomat at a
social gathering by mere telepathy while being miles away. Later, those
who hired Mara want to get rid of her and shoot both her and her butler
Toruke (the indescribable William Bagdad), but as a witch, naturally,
death means little to Mara and she soon resurrects herself and Toruke too.
Then she takes revenge on those who have killed her ...
Mark meanwhile has contacted his professor friend Helsford (Victor
Izay) and told him about Mara the witch, then though he visits Mara
together with Lorraine and takes part in a regression session during witch
he sees himself in a past life killed by native Americans at a stake - and
back in the now, Mark suddenly finds himself to be the centerpiece of one
of Mara's blood orgies - with him supplying the human sacrifice.
By that time though, Doc Helsford has called in his professor friends
who all prove to be white magicians, and by pure magic they put an end to
Mara's black magic. All of Mara's minions die in the process, only Mara
turns into a bat and tries to escape, but the professors catch the bat and
throw her into the burning oven ...
Yes, Blood Orgy of the She Devils is a bad film, it's sloppily
scripted, the actors all have their limitations, the special effects are
decidedly not so special, and sets props and costumes could have done with
a bigger budget. Yet Blood Orgy of the She Devils is also
wonderful, at least for the connoiseur, a silly and sensationalistic but
also laugh-inducing piece of trash cinemathat never tries to be more than
it is - and this way is totally entertaining and enjoyable - but maybe
only to those who really dig trash cinema in the first place ...
