Lovers Brady (Ronnie Kroell) and Paul (Jason Shepard) have just moved
into their first apartment together - but when they're about to celebrate
this by you-know-what, they're startled by pictures falling down without
any provocation, lights turning themselves on and off without being
plugged in even ... in other words, the place is spooked! So they call
their best friend psychic Lin (Sarah Elbert) in for a séance, and she
soon tracks down the poor soul of Bob (Wallace Langham), whose stay in the
very same apartment wasn't quite as romantic despite his best efforts ...
Bob isn't at all a film that's totally unlikeable, the
characters are all fine and fun, and it has a certain light-footedness to
it that makes it watchable - but unfortunately these nice characters and
light-footed approach also destroy all suspense and indeed narrative
conflict the story should have had. As it is, it's a completely harmless
ghost movie without the least bit of tension, and the conciliatory ending
doesn't help one bit either ...
