It all started at a routine medical check, when the doctor stuck a
finger up his butt - and Chip (Tyler Cornack) found it quite pleasing.
From here on he started sticking things up his butt, first just little
things like a bar of soap and the TV remote, but gradually the things got
bigger - and more alive, like the family dog. But after he shoved a little
kid up his butt at the park, Chip knew he'd gone too far - which ended in
a failed suicide attempt. It's ten years later, and Chip has become a
sponsor with tha Alcoholics Anonymous, with his latest ward being cop
Russell (Tyler Rice) - and it's obvious from the start the two don't get
on that greatly, so Chip tries to avoid Russell - until there's a party at
Chip's office where the staff's kids play hide and seek, and one kid hides
under Chip's desk and ... is never seen again. Russell is assigned to
investigate the case, and what he does find out that the security camera
system has been wiped, and Chip was in the best position to do so. So
after some more investigations, Russell comes up with the theory that the
little kid has gone up Chip's butt, an idea so outrageous that Russell's
boss (Brad Potts) dismisses it outright, and when Russell won't stop
investigating into that direction, he takes him off the case and
eventually even fires him. But Russell just knows he's right, so he just
won't let off - until he gets too close to the truth and gets sucked into
Chip's butt, which turns out to be a large system of caverns where Russell
finally finds out he was right all along when he finds the missing boy and
Chip's family dog, both still alive. Problem is, what good does that do
Russell when he's stuck in someone else's butt? Now I have to
point out here, this film isn't nearly as outrageous as its premise makes
it out to be (though you probably still shouldn't watch it if "bad
taste" cinema is not your thing), as it's more genre parody than
gross-out comedy, and many of the more disgusting occurences are kept
off-screen or are only hinted at, and when Russell lands in Chip's butt,
the movie thankfully goes full-on surrealism. The outcome then is a pretty
alright example of the party movie variety, played more for laughs than
depth, and not all jokes exactly high brow, but with a well-structured
plot populated by fun caricatures, and an overall attitude that suggests
this movie should be consumed with a couple of beers or whatever your
poison.
