Two cops (Fredd Wayne, John Craven) are looking for a check forger -
and ultimately, they have to realize it's their own auditor (Whit
Bissell). Why does the man do it? Because his daughter (Maureen
Cassidy) is terminally ill, and he wants to give her the best treatment
that money can afford - and to do that, above all else he needs of course
money. The cops are allowed to arrest their auditor only after his
daughter has died after all, of course. There are moments of
interest in this stopry, but overall it's just too cheesy to really be
taken seriously.
