Courtmey (Lauren Buglioli) is going to get married to Glen (Zae Jordan)
the next day, so she has invited over her best frieend Lexi (Aditi
George), Glen's sister Jasmine (Najah Bradley) and her own estranged
sister Caitlin (Madison Hatfield) over for a hen night - to which Caitlin
has also invited Courtney's ex-boyfriend Dave (Jonathon Pawlowski) - which
is bad enough in itself, only made worse by the fact that Dave is actually
the devil, out to take Courtney's soul. Of course he can only take her
soul if she gives it to him willingly, but he can still possess her. Of
course, her friends do all to get the Devil out of her again, but somehow
all their efforts only get a pizza guy (Spencer Mumford) and the wedding
planner killed (Nicole Marie Johnson), and somehow Glen, Courtney and
Caitlin's brother Chuck (Steven Reddington) and the online ordained
wedding priest (Byron Wigfall) are sucked into the proceedings, with the
Devil soon possessing Glen, making an even bigger mess out of things ... A
pretty fun little movie that without any big spectacle gets the most out
of its premise, and that seemingly effortlessly stumbles from one
hilarious situation to the next, while leaving quite a few dead bodies
along the way. A dynamic and light-footed directorial effort sees to it
that things are kept on the move throughout, while a fine ensemble cast
bring their colourful cast of characters to life nicely, making this a fun
ride for sure.
