If vampire Morella (Debra Mayer) gets to drink the blood of 10,000
victims, she will become a supervampire or something, and to lure victims
to her domain, she has taken Sugar (Jill Michelle) and Spyce (Raelyn
Hennessee) under her wing, two vampire strippers who seem to be
irresistible to men and women alike. There's just one problem with each of
them: Spyce is greedy, and more than once she's found to drink the blood
of her victims herself instead of leaving it for her mistress. And Sugar?
She's actually a good girl, and she even has a very normal sexual
relationship with her stripclub owner, Dex (Daniel Lennox) - much to
Morella's dismay of course. Dex is unaware that his girlfriend's a
vampire - until midget vampire hunter Ivan (Phil Fondacaro) hits the
scene, gives Dex a crash course in vampire killing ... and eventually,
Ivan and Dex find themselves in Morella's mansion just when Morella's
getting ready to drink the blood of her 10,000th victim, and the showdown
involves not only the three of them but also Sugar, Spyce and a
hommunculus that turns out to be Morella's former lover and Ivan's father. Ultimately,
Morella thinks she triumphs when she drinks Ivan's blood, but he has since
drunken the blood of his hommunculus father, and even though he has to
give his life in the process, he sees to it that Morella is turned into a
hommunculus (and thus his father's sex toy) instead of a super vampire ... What's
there much to say about this film? It's a typical Charles Band horror
flick, inasmuch as it was made on a low budget, it's not particularly
intelligent, scary, gory or funny, it does feature quite a few feeble
excuses to show boobs, the script is not particularly well-written and the
characters lack depth, and the creature effects could be better ... but
somehow, the film is fun on a party flick level: It's not a cinematic
achievement of any kind, but seen with a few mates and a few beers, it
hardly disturbs the conversation and has something to laugh about (both
intentionally and unintentionally) every few minutes or so ...
