Neil is by no means a bad man, he just doesn't like Adventure Girl
Cookies, and really can't cope with the fact that these cute two Adventure
Girls (Katherine McNamara, Andrea Strickler) ring his doorbell every time
of day and night to try and sell him just those. He even phones the police
about this, but apparently, the chief of police has just been visited by
the Adventure Girls and is wolving down his package presently. When he has
finally made it clear to the girls he doesn't want their cookies, he
receives a gift box of them on his doorstep, then after he trows that one
away a whole pyramid of gift boxes ... and then he has to realize he has
somehow let the girls into the house, plus his wife (Jennifer Plas) has
suddenly sided with the girls - as there is something more sinister to the
Adventure Girl Cookies than meets the eye ... Great little
satire about the "obligation" to buy girl scout cookies, told as
a horror film - and it works, because the story is effectively told, the
jokes and shocks are in all the right places, the film's dark humour is
nothing short of charming, and the whole thing is carried by a competent
ensemble. Really a fun film! By the way, part of Hillbilly
Horror Show - Episode 3.
