He (Jamie Wilson) has just stolen a fortune, and to get away scot free, he
decides to bury the loot on a beach for the time being, after all, no
evidence, no way anyone can pin the theft of him. Problem is, whoever he
has robbed has long figured out it was him and sent his bloodhound (Andrew
Shintler) after him, and that bloodhound has his very own idea about
poetic justice ...
Clocking in at a mere four minutes, this is a movie that doesn't trouble
itself with too much (or indeed any) backstory but trusts on the audience
grasping the situation as it evolves (and rightly so indeed), basically
presenting us with a thriller miniature with a macabre twist - which is
the film's main raison d'être - and all of this works, too, because
writer/director Jamie Wilson doesn't just bank on the short's punchline
but does treat us to atmorpheric shots and a slow buid-up of tension
worthy any decent genre piece, making this one a really enjoyable watch.
