Young-gun (Hong Young-Geun) considers himself a superhero, defending
the streets at night armed with nothing but his Taekwondo skills and
masked with a fake mustache. And in his superhero-guise, he saves Monica
(Ha Eun-Jung) from a bunch of baddies. And to keep her out of their reach,
Young-gun takes him to his apartment. He feels drawn to the girl almost
immediately, and while talking, they realize they have lots of things in
common, and she feels drawn to him as well - so nothing stands in the way
of having sex (as she suggests) ... nothing but his vow of chastity. Thing
is, she is an alien who needs human sperm to reproduce, and needs it this
very night, so if he doesn't give it up of his free will, she decides to
force it out of him. Complications arise when the bullies who attacked her
at the beginning (and who now turn out to be gouvernment agents) show up,
when Monica dies and the alien that has possessed her, leaves her body,
and when Young-gun desperately tries to tell right from wrong ... The
best thing about Invasion of Alien Bikini is probably its title,
the film hiding behind it is lots less raunchy or trashy than the title
suggests - despite the sex-starved alien at the center of proceedings.
Actually the film as such plays perfectly harmless for the most part and
seems to be positively worried about not pushing the envelope even a bit.
Sure, there are a few laughs in there, but as a whole, it's rather
disappointing. The title would have definitely deserved a better (well, at
least different) film.
