Emilia (Tiana Hogben) wants to be a world class filmmaker, and she sure
enough has had the right training and everything to be one. Thing is,
that's juist not enough, and her latest script doesn't get the approval
from the local film board - which she entirelyblames on her case officer
Shannon (Peter Thurnwald). But then, her best friend Zoe (Bianda Bradey)
starts dating Shannon, and Emilia sees a way in through her, and Zoe's
even open to help her friend - and that's when things start to spin out of
control ...
Especially if you're somehow connected with the indie movie
scene, this film's almost certain to connect with you as it's basically a
really grounded film about filmmakling - but doesn't rely on realism alone
but spins the topic into a rally entertaining story that's populated by
well fleshed out characters brought to the screen by a solid cast, and
told in a nicely flowing way that's quite so relatable because it's free
of exaggerations and silliness. And the result it a very enjoyable film
about filmmaking for sure.
