It's a story all too familiar from a few too many (porn-)movies, he (Woody
Coyote) delivers a pizza, she (Sophie Neff), dressed rather revealingly,
cannot pay - at least not in cash, but she offers to have sex with the
pizza guy in order to balance the accounts. And while he feels quite
attracted to her (and one can't blame him there), he turns her offer down,
because you know, it's not just him, the delivery guy, dependent of her
payment, but also the cook back at the shop, the manager, the personnel,
and really the whole supply chain - a revelation that really hits home
with her. And since she figures there's no way she can have sex with all
these people to pay for her pizza, there's only one other way, she has to
become pizza ...
Now this sure is a movie that will stick with one for a while: It starts
on a very mundane premise that has really be done to death but then veers
off into surreal territory - and the tilm's really great at it, especially
since it's doing so well subverting audience expectations along the way
and delivering some disturbing visuals that will make you look at pizza
never quite the same way you used to - which surely makes this short a
weird but then again truly worthwhile experience.
And if this has gotten you at all interested in Make Me a Pizza, you just
might want to catch this movie on Bloodstream:
