It's Christmas time again, and everybody's happy, everybody but horror
blogger Mr Shelton (John H. Shelton), who hates Christmas so much he even
wears a Grinch T-shirt to celebrate the occasion. The two Mrs. Clauses
(Sarah Musson, Anita Dashwood) though are less than happy about it, and
thus they decide to teach him a lesson and send him the Ghost of Christmas
to Come (Ward Parker-Wingate) ... but since Mr Shelton's a horror blogger,
that ghost is a masked and machete-wielding maniac ... Now I
have to point out here, this is not the most faithful adaptation of A
Christmas Carol, nor is it an extremely polished horror movie
- but it is lots of fun, and that's what it has set out to be, a winking
tribute to Christmas horrors, with many a mainstay made fun of, that's
even funnier if one knows John H. Shelton the internet persona, because he
by no ways shies away from making fun of himself (just spot his cuddly Godzilla
there), but should really be enjoyable enough for everyone to spend a few
minutes on. And if this has gotten you at all
interested, this short will premiere on December 5th 2023 here:
