Kathy (lona Agathe Bastion) has come to Bali to study the local form of black magic called Leak,
and she figures the only way to learn anything about it is to become a
Leak magician herself. Soon enough, her boyfriend Mahendra (Yos Santo) puts her in
touch with a black witch (Sofia W.D.), who really accepts her as a stuident. And before
long, Kathy has learned quite a bit about Leak ... but what she doesn't
know is that the witch occasionally borrows her head to kill -
which means at time her head becomes seperated from her body, and, with
the spine and a few organs still attached to it, flies around, kills
people amd sucks their blood, first and foremost to help the witch regain her full power and overcome her
adversaries, the white mystics.
But Mahendra seems to somehow sense the danger and consults with his
uncle (W.D.Mochtar), a white mystic, and soon enough the good uncle finds out that the
witch is only using Kathy for her own evil ends, and unfortunately the
girl is doomed, and the only thing to do to save her soul is burying her
body while her head is not attached to it. And while they guard the grave,
the witch and poor Kathy's head show up for a final countdown ... and they
even kill the good uncle and corner Mahendra when - another undle of
Mahendra shows up, the most powerful of the white mystics, and he uses all
his magic to kill the witch and lay Kathy's soul to rest ...
A very simple and trashy story, crude and in-your face-special effects
(like the heroine's head coming off, the heroine throwing up mice, or the
witch's incredibly long tongue), and very wooden acting - nope, this is
not great, refined entertainment, but if you have an open mind, you might
still enjopy this piece of exotic madness, despite or even because of its
shortcomings. And who can say no to a flying head anyways ?
